Become involved in the EBTP

Established in 2006, the EBTP brings together the knowledge and expertise of stakeholders from industry, biomass production, research & technology development, engine and vehicle manufacture, fuel distribution, government and NGOs in a public private partnership. The platform depends on the advice and information provided by stakeholders to achieve a common aim - the commercial deployment of sustainable advanced biofuels in Europe.

Register your business contact details and provide an organisation profile

If you would like to become more involved with the platform and include your organisation details on the EBTP Stakeholder Database, please use the Stakeholder Registration Form. The form includes two sections:

1. A summary of your organisation with a web link that will be included on the public databases of Biofuels Stakehdolers in Europe.

2. Your business contact details, which will not be shared with any third party, but may be used by EBTP occasionally to contact you when the platform is seeking expert advise on specific topics relating to deployment of advanced biofuels in Europe.

Apply for Working Group Membership

Working Groups of the EBTP bring together experts from across Europe in four key areas: biofuels feedstocks; conversion technology; end use; and policy and sustainability. The WGs provide the EC with a concensus of views from research, industry, academia and organisations on aspects of advanced biofuels R&D and policy. WGs also contribute to the Strategic Research Agenda for Biofuels in Europe and to the European Industrial Bioenergy Initiative EIBI.

To apply to become a member of an EBTP Working Group, please send a brief C.V. to, outlining your experience and expertise in advanced biofuels feedstocks, conversion technology, end use, policy or sustainability. This will be passed on to the relevant WG Chairs.
